Yellowstone National Park Camper Rentals

I wanted to share this helpful input from one of our guests who recently traveled for 14 nights in a 21′ camper: as those of you who travel on the Going to the Sun” road in Glacier National Park, the length limit of 21′ has recently become “enforced’ by Park Rangers due to the curvy  and challenging nature of the road, and the number of campers that enter Glacier National Park, and make a drive on this road their centerpiece.

Here is what Teresa and Cliff had to say about life in a 19’6” Roadtrek SS Agile solar Sprinter van camper:

“Canyon Adventures with Bernie

This is the second and won’t be the last journey in heavens kept secret, the Roadtrek Camper Van.

Once the itinerary is drafted, our maps get highlighted and side notes taken, the packing process begins.  A Wish List is made with the items thought necessary. Rule number 1: everything packed should have at least two uses or worn twice. Travel size of personal items critical.  (Think small items in small spaces makes for a neat and tidy living space = cozy and complete).

Once the packing list is complete, we look at each others list, question, and delete some items.  Packing cubes are essential as they greatly assist item organization and packing/unpacking into van cabinets. On this trip we used one 120ml duffel bag on wheels (that could roll up and easily fit under the bed using the back door access.)  In addition we each had a back pack (for hiking) to bring onto the plane.  Once inside the van, we put our back packs in the hanging cabinet. The packing cubes were put in the far back cabinet. There was plenty of extra space in that cabinet but keeping the items in cubes allowed us easy access to whatever it was we needed.  Easy to find = little to no stress.

This company thinks of EVERYTHING you may need for a fabulous journey and is equipped with some surprise items.  Bring your thoughtful planning, organized packing and your favorite food/drink.  Add in a few 20 minute naps during the day for a much needed break in the adventures. We used everything Bernie had to offer and walked away with the ongoing need and desire for adventure, freedom, and the great outdoors. Life Is Good!
